General Summary:

Quality Inspector is a team player responsible

for inspecting various products are various process steps to determine when a

process is going out of control.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· In-process inspection of all products at all stages

of production.

Perform Out of Box Audits as required by customer or

quality documentation.

· Perform incoming material Inspections. Enter inspection results in database.

· Database data entry and retrieval.

· Photographing issues and providing detailed report

of issues via email.

· Effectively communicating findings both verbally and

in writing.

· Explain standard accept/reject criteria to


· Document and segregate non-conforming material.

When required, sort material to identify and

segregate acceptable and unacceptable material.

Related Education & Experience:

High School Diploma

Skills Required: ·

Prior experience with inspecting product to a standard such as a QIP.

Experienced with measurement devices: Micrometer,

Calipers, Height Indicator.

Knowledge of and experience with current products and quality requirements at all levels of manufacturing (molding, stamping, assembly, packaging, etc.).

Experienced with inspecting plastic molded parts, stamped and plated parts with understanding of accept/reject criteria and related defects preferred.

Familiar with Molding, Stamping and Assembly terminology.

Capable of reading and comprehending Mechanical Drawings, Product Specifications, Bill of Materials, Packaging Instructions (WIT) and work Instructions.

Will be expected to learn incoming inspection.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to learn and use Quality-related SAP transactions.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.

Ability to make sound decisions without fear of up-setting co-workers.

Ability to work overtime as required or at short notice to accomplish assigned activities or goals.

Ability to work unusual work hours occasionally under special circumstances as requested.
