Job Description


The DAS Project Manager will be responsible for the execution of major and strategic in-building projects and proposals from original concept through final implementation. These projects will involve complex contract terms, extensive coordination and significant technical challenges. Work on large multiple projects will be required. Success will be measured by execution and completion of the programs to the established budgets and customer satisfaction.


• Develops and manages the plan for multiple projects; oversees all aspects of the schedule and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for projects which includes accurate estimating work breakdown structure, resource allocation, key milestones, project objectives and scope definition.

•Reviews project proposal/plan to determine time frame, budget, and procedures for accomplishing projects, technical requirements, and allotment of available resources for various phases of assigned projects.

•Directs and coordinates the activities of project team personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within defined budget.

•Ensures designs are compliant to contract and technical requirements. Coordinate with project staff to outline & negotiate work plan, assign duties & responsibilities, develop detailed schedules and define scope of authority.

•DCCS Program Manager will provide technical guidance to project personnel; will resolve routine and non-routine problems as they arise.

•Participation in site analysis, surveys and walkthroughs will be required.

•Act as the primary interface with customers to ensure program scope remains within design budget, quality, and scheduled agreements including but not limited to involving cross-functional communications between engineers and final end users.

•Provide technical assistance with complex to routine customer issues and consulting services to streamline customer’s internal management processes.

•Provides cost estimating, bid functions and other customer relations support to Sales and Product Line to secure orders. Ensures that sales orders are correctly entered into SAP, verifies budget and invoicing.

•Prepares financial reviews of assigned projects using tools and methods to track activity and communicate project status. DCS Program Manager will be responsible for presenting information to management, clients, and project team personnel as required.

•Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks & reviews vendor deliverables.

•Coordinate and specify Non-Andrew/CommScope material procurement with product vendors.

•Coordinate project information, obtain project progress and develop installation state of work with subcontractors.


Travel for site analysis, surveys and customer meetings as needed.


A completed Bachelor’s Degree, preferably engineering and a minimum of five (5) years experience in project management (including but not limited to site selection and design, system design, system integration, system assembly of equipment and managing complex implementations).

Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to a broad range of internal and external audiences.

Competent in managing competing priorities and negotiating while maintaining excellent customer service.

Requires analytical and interpretative capabilities that apply comprehensive knowledge and understanding of regulations and standards for in-building solutions.

Demonstrated ability to interact and influence persons of various levels and disciplines. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Proficient with MS Office Tools (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio).

Proficient with SAP a plus.
