Due to our continued growth and demand, we are currently recruiting for a Demand Planner with a concentration in New Product Introduction (NPI). Position should be located in Kessel-Lo, Belgium, Brno, Czech Republic or Shakopee, MN USA though other regions / locations may be considered.
Under limited supervision, responsible for operations planning for assigned NPI projects. Partner with project leaders, PLM, engineering, procurement and operations as the operations / planning stakeholder on NPI projects.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
Work with NPI project teams to ensure capacity, inventory and supply chain is ready to support NPI launch
Facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams in supply chain setup assuring that lead time expectations, safety stock levels and MOQs are balanced with global business goals and customer service expectations
Clean handoff to day-to-day production planners for launch ensuring that operations’ requirements are satisfied
Collect data and generate reporting of forecasts, inventory, customer order entry and other items / trends. May be asked to disseminate and present these reports to various interdisciplinary team members and stakeholders
Proactively lead the global planning activities by being the focal point of communication with the BU and Operations leaders. Mentor local Production and DC Planners in coordination with Operations/Distribution Managers in all regions.
Work closely with procurement and vendors in managing contract manufacturing products.
Set in motion or manage end-of-life exercises if applicable

Ability to travel globally.
Minimum of a four-year Bachelor’s Degree (or international equivalent)
Procurement, Process Engineering, Production Planning or DC Planning experience preferred
Must be able to work flexible hours and travel internationally
Comfortable speaking in public or to large audiences
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and influence personnel of various levels and disciplines
Self-starter, high level of personal accountability, and innovative individual
Knowledge of production control systems, specifically SAP required
Strong PC skills required (MS Office)
Business Objects report generation experience preferred
