We are currently recruiting for a Product Manager to join our team in Shakopee, MN.

JOB SUMMARY:

The ACT product specialist supports the Product Line Managers based in NAR across all ISP-F product lines. The specialist assists the Product Manager in making sure that their product lines meet or exceed all of the key performance indicators established during the annual strategic and operating planning processes. They will work across functions to manage all aspects of the product life cycle from strategic planning to day-to-day tactical activities, with an emphasis on supporting the tactical activities associated with running a product line.

DUTITES & RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Providing data analysis to refine the PLM Pricing and Product line rationalization (80/20) strategies.

  • Implementation of the Pricing and Product line rationalization (80/20) strategies (EOL procedures, updating of marketing collateral, etc…)

  • Support commercial and operations teams in the region

  • Provides product training to Field Application Engineers (FAE´s)

  • Works with FAE and Sales to respond to tenders (product configuration, compliance, pricing, commercial conditions, profitability)

  • Presents to internal / external customers and occasionally participates in customer meetings

  • Prepares marketing literature (presentations, data sheets, brochures, web)

  • Provides pricing to Customer Service.

  • Execution of the integrated project plan for selected NPI projects.

  • Analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to articulate complex concepts to a broad range of internal and external audiences

  • Assertive, persuasive and creative problem-solving skills

Focus areas:

  • Support for the fiber optic connectors, components, adapters, fan-outs, splices and field installable connectors for the ACT group. he Product Specialist will acquire an in-depth understanding of all ISP-F products and PLM activities this position can lead to a PLM position in the future.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A completed Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business degree required with 2 to 5 years of experience, Master’s degree is plus

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Pragmatic: keeps feet on the ground, can implement

  • Strong learning on the job capabilities

  • Business experience in a similar business environment is a plus

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong team player, “natural” team leader

  • Prepared to travel up to 20%

  • Familiarity with SAP preferred

  • Fluent in English
