The following topics are available:

o An existing Java software that simulates our hardware should be extended with new devices. Subsequently, the existing system test software Selenium and the Finalbuilder Continuous Integration System to expand this new hardware. Blackboxtests.

o Move subversion repository to Git. Duration:

o Support ongoing development, e.g. create module and integration tests. Whitebox tests.

o Automate Windows Patchpacket updates in a test environment and perform and report Quality Check. Integrate into the existing Contiuous Integration System. Windows and VMWare.

o GUI development for Polarion Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) in Java and eclipse. Duration:

o Update Windows based interface with a Windows Precision Framework (WPF) on Windows 10 Controls. .NET.

o Complex systems, as developed by CommScope, require extensive and expensive software testing. Performing tests manually is tedious and time-consuming, with no reproducibility of the results. CommScope is therefore anxious to automate testing wherever possible. The company uses the test automation tool Ranorex for this purpose. The aim of the internship is to automate the module tests for systems.


At least 3rd semester in the study program computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, or similar
