General Summary:

As the Regional Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing demand generation marketing campaigns and activities that are aligned to CommScope business and sales objectives for your assigned area of responsibility

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Sales to ensure alignment with agreed business, sales and marketing goals.

  • Work closely with the Regional Marketing Manager on the implementation of the marketing plan for the assigned countries/region ensuring alignment with business and sales goals.

  • Responsible for agreed campaign execution leveraging multiple demand generation channels including: in-bound and outbound marketing, digital / online marketing, event management, etc.

  • Work closely with Regional Channel Marketing Specialist to drive channel marketing programs through local distribution, partners and key alliances, complementing the global/regional programs already in place.

  • Development and localization of sales enablement tools including presentations, collateral, success stories etc.

  • Manage inventory for collateral and giveaways.

  • Manage usage of budgets.

  • Manage campaign reporting to understand the ROI of these programs and campaigns against targets and goals for optimization and continuous improvement in all marketing efforts.

  • Responsible for coordination of agreed Corporate Communications and PR initiatives: customer testimonials, blogs, press release distribution, etc.

  • Work closely with the Corporate Brand team to advocate and implement global brand strategy and guidelines.

  • Responsible for advancing best practices with the sales team: including lead dispositioning, lead tracking, contact management, digital / online marketing, social media marketing and selling etc.

  • Responsible for lead and database management – in-line with the specified best practices and processes.

  • Communicate relevant marketing initiatives, events, product announcements, sales enablement tools and resources, etc. to the Sales team.

  • Orchestrates internal and external resources necessary to launch marketing programs.

  • Participate in regional marketing planning and review calls and meetings.

  • Adhere to consistent marketing processes and tool adoption.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing or Business with Marketing.

  • 3+ years marketing experience, preferably business-to-business (B2B).

  • Experience with in-bound marketing, direct marketing, digital & social media marketing, event management, collateral development, etc.

  • Experience with project management, negotiation and strong decision-making skills.

  • Ability to interact and build relationships with local sales leadership, cross functional teams and peers.

  • Positive attitude, reliable and organized.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

  • Ability to operate in a regional, and globally matrixed environment.

  • Demonstrate multi-tasking skills, creativity, and initiative.

  • Experience with some marketing automation platforms such as Marketo and campaign and reporting on Salesforce.

  • Occasional traveling is required.

  • Some market / application knowledge an advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English (Fluent). Spanish and or/ another European language would be highly advantageous

  • Excellent skills in MS Windows applications needed.

Location:

  • This role can be based in either our London (Canary Wharf) or Madrid office.
