Due to our continued growth and customer demand we are currently recruiting for a qualified Financial Planning Systems Analyst to join our team in Richardson, TX.


Under the general direction and guidance of Manager, Financial Planning Systems, will work to execute and implement a companywide FP&A system / solution that will incorporate and/or integrate change to the existing process.


  • Conduct research and internal needs analysis for the planning process.

  • Work to implement process change at each phase of the project / process companywide.

  • Conduct research of historical financial data looking for areas of improvement, risk and opportunities.

  • Work to prepare and manage financial and profitability reporting.

  • Assist in the development of financial models through process analysis and benchmarking.

  • Provides support to end user for all financial processes. Develops and implement global financial reporting process related to CommScope forecast tool to ensure accurate and timely completion of all reporting during monthly cycle.

  • Act as a point of contact between Decision Support Financial Systems Reporting and Financial management and staff functioning as a liaison for problem or process enhancement.

  • Assist in review of request for and assignment of Forecast Tool security role to end user. Includes corporate guidelines for granting access to appropriate Cost center owners and segregation of duties and responsibilities.

  • Lead, organize and execute new project as assigned by manager to develop Forecast tool and drive process improvement.

  • Assists with design and creation of master data, documentation and testing of processes, data reconciliation, and training end users for new Forecast Tool implementation while maintaining process and data integrity in multiple environments.

  • Assist in designing and creating new reporting as required to meet business needs, new requirements, and improved reporting. Includes all financial reporting tools.

  • Assist in development of proper training materials (documentation) for processes, both standardized and site-specific, for use in training global end users. Includes new and existing processes and functionality.

  • Assist in providing training to Finance management and staff for Forecast Tool implementations at new locations, new functionality, and upgrades. Provides on-site month-end finance close assistance for new locations.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining master data used in the Forecast Tool modules. Includes accounts, cost elements, cost centers, profit centers, and other product costing master data.



  • A completed Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Accounting, Finance or Math preferred.

  • One (1) to three (3) years relevant working experience in financial systems management and/or technology information systems.

  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills in a fast paced, changing environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written / verbal) required with proven ability to influence across all levels of the business.

  • Ability to make critical decisions and drive for results.

  • Tech Savvy --- systems / programs experience.

  • Forward analytical thinker with the ability to drive continuous improvement in processes.

  • Ability to anticipate and balance the needs of key stakeholders and core team members.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with others to meet shared goals and objectives.

  • Experience Microsoft Office programs required.

  • Experience with SAP and/or HFM preferred.
